As part of our Studio Foundations Back Lane West residency in October 2019, Shallal Dance Theatre was fortunate enough to work with light artist Peter Freeman, researching movement in response to Peter's immersive coloured light.
Our residency included a talk by Peter followed by a response by dancers to the lights along with soundscapes by George Bradley Peer. This led to a further performance with Peter at Newlyn Art Gallery in January 2020. We have really enjoyed our creative collaboration with Peter, which has led to many inspiring ideas and new work.
