Cornwall Community Foundation offers small grants to local grassroots community groups in Cornwall to support communities in need. We are extremely grateful to CCF, who have supported Shallal many times over the years via their different funds.
Most recently we were awarded Covid-19 emergency funding to reach out to our most isolated artists by offering one-to-one safe outdoor sessions.
In 2019-20 Shallal Studios was awarded funding from CCF's Lord St Levan fund, enabling artists who hadn't exhibited before to be involved in framing and hanging their work at our pop-up exhibition at Newlyn Art Gallery. This experience transformed their confidence and is key part of an artist's creative journey.
