Skills I can bring to the role of Trustee are: I’m an amateur performer now Ordinalia, I Sing with
choirs and I have supported companies like WildWorks in performance as a member and as a community performer. My own professional experience was as an actor teacher in Theatre in Education (Nottingham Playhouse, Belgrade Coventry, Greenwich Young People’s Theatre ) Community Theatre and working in prisons and other venues. When I moved to Cornwall 40 years ago I got involved locally with Theatre Rotto, then training teachers to use Drama techniques for the Performing Arts Team and eventually becoming a Drama teacher
myself, I continued to work part-time as a drama teacher until a few years ago. I’m also a
part-time blue badge Tour Guide working around Cornwall and Devon in English, French in
German.
Jilly has known Shallal for over thirty years and now she has time is part of Shallal Dance Theatre.
