Kerry Tomlins

Kerry is an artist, performer and counsellor.

She has extensive experience working with vulnerable people in various settings, from schools, designing art projects and managing challenging behaviours therapeutically, to extensive support with vulnerable families. She is currently working on her poetry and short story books, painting and running dance workshops. She runs her own private practice as a counsellor working with the body's knowledge in particular. She feels that the creative process is so very vital for well being.

She has an art studio with Redwing where she volunteers, who also work with vulnerable people. She completed her art degree in 2003 and her counselling qualifications in 2011. She has a person centred approach to her facilitation and loves the inclusivity of Shallal. She has been with Shallal for some years now and feels she is always learning from this wonderful diverse 'Shallal family'.
