Yvonne started doing art at Shallal's Express Yourself group and Back Lane West art residencies and has become a keen member of Shallal Studios, exhibiting and selling her work.

She works with water-based paint, coloured pencil and inks. She loves working from memory, drawing from her own experience of growing up in Cornwall. Yvonne has exhibited with Shallal at Falmouth Art Gallery, Back Lane West and Newlyn Art Gallery and in September 2021 had her first solo show 'Two Suns and Other Characters' at Grays Wharf in Penryn.

She wants to continue making art and going with the flow. She loves dancing, bingo and helping others by volunteering.
