In the summer of 2015 we were lucky enough to be awarded a three-month art residency at Porthmeor Studios. This meant that we could invite a huge range of artists in to use the studio, often for collaborative projects. Members of the public came to see our artwork alongside a Shallal 2 performance at the end of the project as part of St Ives September Festival. We loved being in the middle of a community of professional artists at the heart of St Ives.
Arts Council England supported the project as research towards Shallal setting up a permanent, accessible art studio.
