Book launch

Growing out of our Knitted Together project, our zine entitled 'A Space for All' brings together ideas about community spaces, culture and heritage which are central to Shallal.

In partnership with the wonderful Redruth Press, our project celebrates John Passmore Edwards, much loved Cornish Philanthropist, who provided many community spaces in Cornwall, as part of Shallal's year of celebration to mark his bicentenary.

This comprehensive retrospective brought together the many cross-art aspects of the project including Godolphin film ‘The Duchess and the Doll’ made with film-maker Barbara Santi, with company members in acting and co-directing roles, artwork in many mediums and behind-the-scenes portrait photography by Steve Tanner.
